OMEGA Spotlight - Customer Service Team

Here at OMEGA we like to highlight our wonderful merchants, partners and employees. The OMEGA Spotlight is our way of showing our appreciation for businesses and individuals that help make OMEGA succeed!
This week OMEGA Spotlight would like to highlight our entire Customer Service Department. The OMEGA Customer Service Department was nominated by Bruce Morris, our Director of Client Services Support and Technical Services. Below is what Bruce had to say about his amazing team.
Everyone on the CS Team has been working tirelessly since Memorial Day weekend, handling and dealing with the merchants Verifone credit card terminals who were affected by the (Worldwide!) VMAC/Certificate Issue.
For over a month now, the Customer Service Reps have been taking back to back to back calls talking to merchants who are calling in, (or they’re getting back to merchants emails and/or voicemails), because their terminals were caught in a vicious recycling problem. This was resulting in merchants not being able to use their terminals at all, and subsequently, not able to run any credit card transactions, severely affecting their business and bottom lines.
OMEGA’s Customer Service Reps have been handling the non-stop, highly stressful situations and calls with the utmost empathy, professionalism and sense of urgency to get things corrected for the merchants as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Without each one of them being as caring and dedicated as they are, this already un-avoidable, un-planned/un-knowing business hampering ordeal for our merchants and their customers, could have very easily had some pretty disastrous outcomes.
Because of the CS Department’s untiring and unwavering efforts, we have not only been correcting the issues for our merchants and getting them back up and running in record times, but we have also lost almost zero customers because of this entire situation.
This is a true testament to this teams professionalism and their commitment to OMEGA’S main core value of ensuring that as employees and a company, we truly work hard and strive to “Build Prosperity One Life At A Time”.
